Your houses
Your houses holds every photo you added. Each card shows the photo, how many designs you saved for it and when it last changed — its name, its parts or outlines, its designs or its AI photos (a name too long for the card shows whole when you point at it). Click the photo to open the house.
Adding a photo
Section titled “Adding a photo”Press Add a photo and choose a JPEG, PNG or WebP photo. An iPhone’s HEIC photo can’t be read: send or save it as JPEG, or set the iPhone to take JPEGs (Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible) — the app says so if you pick one. The app keeps your photo as it is, plus a smaller copy to paint on and a card copy. A phone photo that is stored sideways is turned upright, and a photo with transparent parts is put on white — those two are saved again in their own format, not kept byte for byte. The house is named after the file; rename it any time.
What makes a good photo:
- From the front, from the street, with the whole house in the frame.
- Daylight without hard shadows — an overcast day is ideal.
- Nothing in front — cars, trees and people hide the walls the app needs to see.
How big a photo may be (Largest photo (MB), 40 at first) and the size of the copies are in App Settings → General → Photos; a change to the copies’ size applies to photos added after it. A photo of more than 268 million pixels can’t be read at all: scale it down first.
Renaming and deleting
Section titled “Renaming and deleting”The pencil on a card renames the house. The bin deletes it — its photo, its parts, its designs and its AI photos; it asks first. A house deleted while its page is open elsewhere (another window, a browser) shows This house isn’t here any more there, with the way back to Your houses.
